• Ile Saint-Louis, the center of the Seine and the heart of Paris

Ile Saint-Louis

The Ile Saint-Louis is, with the Île de la Cité, one of the islands of the Seine River that still remains. Urbanized by King Louis XIII around 1630 (its private mansions are often still owned by some of France’s oldest families) , it has become one of Paris’ most visited destinations.
Your guide, a passionate of History and History of Art expert who has collaborated with many historians, curators and heritage directors of Museums, invites you to discover typical architecture of the XVIIth century, particularly in the magnificent Lambert and Lauzun townhouses.

At the end of this visit, if you wish to pursue this exchange with your guide, you are welcome to invite him for a drink or a meal in a restaurant nearby that he would be delighted to recommend to you.
